Product Reviews
Izziwotnot’s Bailey Sleigh cot-bed isn't cheap but it's elegant and well-made. It's simple to put together, even though it does take two people, and it is beautiful in any nursery. The panel we tested loved the dark wood and the dowel sides, and it's sturdy enough to be used until your baby is a toddler. It also conforms to British safety standards. The depth is not enough to ensure that your child can climb out, and the distance between slats should not be more than 65mm. This should prevent their heads from being stuck. It's important to keep in mind that you will need to buy a mattress separately and that's an extra PS88.

The sleigh design of this cot is really beautiful and makes it stand out from other cots. It's also very easy to get your baby in and out of, which is a big plus. It's slightly more expensive than some other cot beds, however our panel of experts thought it was worth the extra cash for its appearance and the durability.
The cot bed is available in either country pine or walnut finishes. It can be used from the moment of birth. Related Homepag has three handy mattress heights, meaning you can start your baby by putting the base up to make it easier for them to get to them throughout the day and night, then lower it as they develop. It has teething rails to ensure your child's furniture is protected as well as gums. When your child is out of their cot bed, you can easily convert it into a junior mattress, and then to a couch.
The westport design by Silver Cross is another cot that is sturdy and made to last. It can be used as a cot from birth, then as a toddler bed, and then as a junior bed (toddler guard rails are available separately). It was a bit difficult for our panel members to convert the cot into a bed, but their other halves said it was easy and took less than 5 minutes. It's a little more expensive than other models, but you'll want to keep it for your children as they get older.
